On the 3rd Saturday of the Month, Beginning April 15, Amanda Reckonwith Is in “Residential Care” at Pangea

World-famous spento soprano Amanda Reckonwith is in”Residential Care” at Pangea, beginning on Saturday, April 15 at 7 PM—debuting her new show, Amanda Reckonwith’s Got Gas! The international diva and Broadway legend (in her own mind) offers razzle dazzle with high comedy and even higher notes in a residency every third Saturday—April 15; May 20; June 17; July 15 and August 19, all at 7 PM—conceived, written, directed and performed by David Sabella, with musical direction by Mark Hartman.

After her Pangea debut in September, Reckonwith has defied all odds by launching what is now an unstoppable juggernaut of cabaret success.  A shock and awe cocktail of talents, some improved with age and others remarkably preserved, Reckonwith, who retired from the stage for nearly 25 years for no good reason, is now a force to be be reckoned with.  In her show, assisted by her aMANuensis David Sabella, the diva returns to the stage after nearly squandering a talent honed on Broadway and on opera stages around the world.

Once a lyric soprano, Reckonwith is now known as the world’s most beloved “Spento” soprano. Touring the world with her partner in music, Maestro Marco Carouomo, she regales audiences with her unique interpretations of Broadway, Great American Songbook, and Popular favorites.
