My Inspiration—Celebrating the Legends We Love, plays this Saturday, July 28 at 4 PM at Don’t Tell Mama. The show, produced by Sue Matsuki, is the second in a series of shows performed by people who studied with and worked with Barry Levitt. Starring are Donna Elliott, Stew Frimer, Helena Grenot, Sallie Jo Hadley, Eric Stephen Jacobs, Laurel Kallen, Alicia Littman, DJ O’Neill, Edie Stokes, Artie Thompson and Dorian Woodruff. Patti Bottino-Bravo will host, with Musical Direction by Mark Janas. Brenda Levitt will be in attendance. All proceeds go to the Barry Levitt Foundation for music education programs and instruments for inner city kids in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
