Known for their budding Broadway talent, the Stardusters, Ellen’s Stardust Diner is teaming up with Luv Michael to present a special musical event in celebration of Autism Acceptance Month on Tuesday, April 8 at 11 AM.
Ellen’s, helmed by Miss Subways 1959, Ellen Hart, will will turn the mic over to Luv Michael’s Christian Ciardiello, for an exciting performance. “American Idol” contestant, Shane Dan Turner, will also be making an appearance to perform and receive a special gift from Hart. Turner is a self-taught, neurodivergent musician from Queens who currently resides on Long Island.
For the occasion, the menu will include specials, The Empower Shake and The Luv Michael Parfait, both made with the organization’s signature “made with luv” granola. A portion of proceeds from these items will benefit Luv Michael, a NYC-based organization focused on creating employment opportunities for individuals with autism, founded by Dr. Lisa Liberatore, MD FACS.
