The outdoor series, Music at the Mansion Porch Performances welcomes award-winning singer Marissa Mulder on Saturday, August 14th at 7 PM, with pianist Jon Weber.
Mulder will be performing songs by Tom Waits, Lennon/McCartney, John Prine, Joni Mitchell, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell and Sondheim. She’ll also be singing some of her favorite standards. Mulder also has a narrative of stories about her experiences and the songwriters she loves, giving insight into their lives and their music.
Mulder has performed at the Carlyle, 54 Below, Birdland, and Joe’s Pub. She is the recipient of three MAC (Manhattan Association Of Cabarets and Clubs) awards, for Major Artist and Recording Of The Year for her show Tom…in his words, the songs of Tom Waits. She is also the recipient of the Julie Wilson and Noel Coward Awards. Another career highlight is her guest appearance on “Piano Jazz” on NPR. Mulder has toured nationally and has recorded albums available on ITunes, Amazon, Spotify and Cdbaby.
The performance also includes a boxed dinner by Frungillo Catering, complete with salad, entree, side dish, dessert and coffee. BYOB. Each guest must select a dinner entree option prior to finalizing ticket payment.
