Michael Kirk Lane’s Cabaret History and Great Performances at 92Y Begins Streaming on Monday, October 19

The next session of 92Y School of Music’s Cabaret History and Great Performances with instructor Michael Kirk Lane begins on Monday, October 19. The four-week lecture series looks at the art form of cabaret using video and audio recordings of influential performers throughout the decades—including Mabel Mercer, Bobby Short, Hildegarde, Madame Spivy, Julie Wilson, Baby Jane Dexter, Nancy LaMott and many more. Beyond exploring the history of cabaret, the series also discusses the future of cabaret and where this art form is headed into the future

Cabaret History and Great Performances tuition is $120 for four sessions.
