On Monday, October 22 at 7:00 PM, Madelaine Warren brings to Don’t Tell Mama her third solo show, Mad for Romance—a lineup of great songs that explore the ups and downs of romance. These wonderful numbers are both humorous and poignant and ask the question, what is romance? Songwriters include Johnny Mercer, Jerome Kern, Burton Lane, Alan Jay Lerner, Hoagy Carmichael, Harold Arlen, Sergio Mendez, Dorothy Fields, Barry Manilow, Leonard Bernstein, Cole Porter, William Bolcom, Alex Kramer, Alan and Marilyn Bergmann and Stephen Sondheim. Joining Warren are Bob Renino on bass and music director/arranger Christopher Denny on piano. Direction is by Barry Kleinbort.
