Singer-dancer Jackie Draper returns to the Laurie Beechman Theatre in her new show Spreadin’ Rhythm Around on Thursday, November 18 at 7 PM. The musical team is Music Director and pianist Gregory Toroian, Tom Hubbard on bass, Ron Tierno on percussion and Robbyn Tongue on woodwinds, with guest artist/dancer Milo Saidl. Kimberly Vaughn directs.
Spreadin’ Rhythm Around embraces a rainbow of rhythms, with songs in English, French and Portuguese. Composers include Charles Aznavour, Chopin, Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Tom Jobim, Jerome Kern, Michel Legrand, Barry Manilow, Cole Porter and more.
$20 cover, $20 food/drink minimum.
