Matsuki Productions presents an evening of music, mirth, and magic in It’s Magic! on Friday, April 5 at 7:00 PM at Don’t Tell Mama—hosted by Sue Matsuki. Musical director Gregory Toroian is on piano. The show stars world-renowned magician/actor Richard Bloch and comedian/actor Nancy Redman. Matsuki and Toroian open and close the show with a selection of “magic” tunes that will charm and delight.

Bloch has toured his comedic magic show world-wide from Japan to Las Vegas and many stops in between. He has collaborated with well-known magicians, including David Copperfield and Siegfried & Roy. Orson Welles, who hired Bloch as a scriptwriter and consultant, once referred to Bloch as “an Edison of magic.” Bloch and his wife Susan Low Bloch are the founders and managing owners of Dickens Parlour Theatre in Ocean View, Delaware, which features world-class magicians as well as a variety of musical performances and theatrical shows.

Redman is currently touring her semi-autobiographical one-person show A Séance With Mom, directed by Austin Pendleton. She is a writer of award=winningg one-woman shows, including The Doctor Is Not In, CLUTTER: I’m Saving My life and It’s Killing Me, EMERGENCY A La Carte and AT WIT’S END: A Home for Retired Comics. Redman has been honored by United Solo with The Best of The Decade selection. She has also made appearances on television, including “Girls’ Night Out” (Lifetime) and “The Oprah Winfrey Show.” Redman was a two-time prize winner on “America’s Funniest People” (ABC).
