Glenn Crytzer and His Orchestra Continues Wednesday Residency at The Secret Room on October 16

Bandleader Glenn Crytzer and his Orchestra, serving up music from the Jazz Age and Swing Era, continues a residency at The Secret Room every Wednesday night, starting at 7:30PM. The Glenn Crytzer Orchestra (GCO) is an award-winning 17-piece big band specializing in the music of the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. Dine, dance and enjoy classic cocktails all in a hidden, underground venue with speakeasy flair.

The GCO brings to life the music of this bygone age with authenticity and a repertoire that includes the music of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Jean Goldkette, Cole Porter, Bing Crosby, Harry James, Fletcher Henderson, Ella Fitzgerald, Fats Waller, George Gershwin, Billie Holiday, and many more. The band also performs  Crytzer’s original vintage-style compositions and arrangements.

The band has been featured at Lincoln Center, The Plaza Hotel, the Rainbow Room, the Glen Echo Ballroom, Lindy Focus, The Century Ballroom, The Montauk Club, the Fillmore Room, Kola House and many more. Their debut recording Ain’t It Grand? was released in 2018 on Blue Rhythm Records.
