Getting to Shows at NJPAC Will Soon Be a Lot Easier for New Yorkers

Work has just begun on the Mulberry Commons Pedestrian Bridge, a walkable pathway  that will link Newark Penn Station and New Jersey PAC at the Prudential Center. The project could completed by the end of 2024 or early 2025. A major component of the project is the restoration of Newark Penn Station, a building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and which is the destination for New York City residents who take public transportation to attend programs at NJPAC.

The bridge could also improve commuter access to roughly 15 million square feet of office space and five million square feet of industrial space, part of large endeavor  to bring new residential, commercial, office and green space to Newark.
