The Elegant Ivory Duo—Elyzsabeth Ahne, vocalist and L. Egan D’ivori, pianist-vocalist––are appearing in an original cabaret show revue, Imperfections of Love (It Ain’t Always Lovey) by pianist, composer John A. Todras, Mr. D’ivori’s alter ego and husband of Ms. Ahne. The show plays at don’t tell Mama on Saturday, May 25 at 7 PM and Sunday, May 26 at 4 PM. The repertoire includes original love and topical humorous songs in varied styles, from attraction through commitments and challenges of living together. Many songs are mini scenes unto themselves.
The Elegant Ivory Duo not only performs their own original musical comedy cabaret, but also standards from The Great American Songbook.
