City Winery NYC presents Singer-Songwriter Charles Esten on Thursday, August 27

City Winery NYC presents actor, comedian and singer-songwriter Charles Esten on Thursday, August 27 at 7:30 PM on the Main Stage.

Esten is known for his versatile performances on both screen and stage, recognized for his roles as “Deacon Claybourne” in ABC/CMT’s NASHVILLE, “Ward Cameron” on Netflix’s Outer Banks, and currently as “Cain Ross” on Angel Studios’ HOMESTEAD.

In early 2024, he delivered what Billboard called his signature “loose, rough-cut country,” independent debut album, Love Ain’t Pretty, which has surpassed 35 million streams to date. He’s also a 2018 Guinness World Records title holder for the “Most consecutive weeks to release an original digital single by a music act” after releasing 54 original songs once a week for 54 straight weeks. He’s made over 190 appearances at Nashville’s iconic Grand Ole Opry and performed multiple headline tours and festivals in the U.S. and Europe.

Esten serves as the National Honorary Spokesperson for Blood Cancer United’s annual Light The Night Walk, and is a board member and volunteer for Musicians On Call.
