Cancellations: As Broadway Shuts Down and Others Follow Suit

You’re probably aware by now that the COVID-19 situation has deemed that Broadway theaters shut down for a month after New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo  announced a ban of all gatherings of more than 500 people. Many other theaters and arts institutions have followed suit as well. The duration of these shutdowns and postponements is variable. If you’e not sure if a show you’re interested in is still playing, check first to make sure. As of this writing, some cabaret shows will still go on.

Don’t panic above all. Exercise common sense. The object is to minimize the spread of the virus. And of course, keep washing your hands and avoid touching your face. We will get through this.
