Broadway’s Aziza Miller performs “That Woman” is Back! at The Green Room 42 on Sunday, August 23 at 9:30 PM. The vocalist-pianist and composer showcases her new album entitled Live Your Life, which was conceived and written by Miller during her run as the featured pianist in Alicia Key’s (her former student) Broadway hit musical, Hell’s Kitchen.
After 40+ years, Aziza Miller, the artist formerly known as Linda Williams, has released and produced this, her second full album, since the debut of her first on Arista records, entitled City Living. This evening’s underlying theme is about the resilience, passion, perseverance and the determination it takes to Live Your Life!
Also appearing are Sherrod Barnes, guitar; Calvin X Jones, bass; Buddy William, drums; Emedin Rivera, percussion and vocalists Serina Guirantes and Cristal Boyd. Special guests are Marty Thomas and Carlos Francis.
