The annual event to benefit Voccal Ease will be held on Sunday, November 4 at Feinstein’s/54 Below at 2 pm, hosted by Tony Award winners Andrea Martin and Debra Monk. The duo will be accompanied by a cast of gifted performers who will present highlights from the Great American Songbook. The benefit is an opportunity for music lovers of all ages to experience the infectious and palpable joy of a Vocal Ease show.

Vocal Ease is a nonprofit 501(c)3 volunteer singing organization that provides live entertainment for New York City’s senior citizens at hospitals, nursing homes and senior centers and residences.

Founded by Eva Swan in 1999, performances are cabaret-style shows, generally with four singers performing solos, duets and group numbers with piano accompaniment. The group has a rotating roster of more than 80 performers, most with professional experience in cabaret, musical theater and jazz. Singers typically perform four songs from their repertoire that are ideal for our senior audience. Shows are energetic and songs are mostly mid and up-tempo. Rehearsal consists of a one-time run-through directly before each performance. Scheduling for shows is extremely flexible.

Come see a terrific performance and help support a local nonprofit doing great things for our New York City seniors. For further information please visit: www.vocaleaseinc.org
