An Urgent Update: Scheduling Changes for the 2020 Ptown Cabaretfest

The Provincetown Cabaretfest, which had optimistically hoped to continue with scheduled events this May 27, 2020 – May 31, 2020 at The Pilgrim House, Provincetown Art House and Harbor Hotel, has revised its scheduling.

NiteLife Exchange has received this update from organizer, Patricia Fitzpatrick. We reprint her email in its entirety.

URGENT Provincetown Cabaretfest 2020 Update.

At Ambassador Productions we are keenly aware of our responsibility for the health and well-being of our performers and guests at Provincetown CabaretFest 2020.  We are also aware that the coronavirus numbers in Massachusetts are still on the increase and do not meet with the safe guidelines currently proposed by the State or local government.

We have therefore made the final  decision to re-schedule Cabaretfest 2020 and combine both of the proposed Festival events, the Educational and Master Class Courses, [planned for May 27-29, 2020 ] and our scheduled performances and private parties ,  to be held  September 30 – October 4th 2020.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in these unusual times.

Patricia and James.

The Provincetown CabaretFest began in 1999, and in 2015 singer and Cape Cod resident Patricia Fitzpatrick relaunched this popular event. The weekend is packed with activities that celebrate the art of cabaret, including performance workshops, masterclasses, 1 1 cabaret shows, four private parties, an award luncheon, Q&A session and a finale show where masterclass students get an opportunity to perform before their peers, relatives and the press.
