Amy Wolk Returns with Hungry Like the Wolk

Amy Wolk is bringing back her show, Hungry Like The Wolk, playing at Don’t Tell Mama on Mondays, February 5 and 26. The show debuted at The Duplex last autumn, her first new outing in several years. It is a mashup of numbers built around Wolk’s comedic self-examination of a woman who’s passed the “40” milestone. The show is directed by Lennie Watts, with musical direction by Steven Ray Watkins. Also appearing are vocalists Stefan Basti and Gerard Salvador, with Daniel Fabricatore on bass and Tim Lykins on drums.

Amy Wolk is the recipient of the 2014 Bistro Award for Outstanding Musical Comedy for her show A Wolk on the Wild Side. She has won two MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets) Awards for her performances, including the 2011 MAC for Musical Comedy, and the 2004 MAC Award for Best Female New York Debut for her show Different for Girls. She was also named one of the best in cabaret by ShowBusiness Weekly.
