The October edition of Barbarino’s Big Nite Out! brings a spirited dose of spooky fun to New York nightlife with Barbarino’s Boo Nite Out on Tuesday, October 27 at 7 PM at Lips! Hosted by Chachi Cruz, this Halloween variety show promises an exciting mix of powerhouse singers, hilarious comedians, fabulous drag performers, and one-of-a-kind specialty acts—all backed by a sensational live band.
Recent shows have welcomed cabaret stalwarts Tanya Moberly and Melissa Driscoll, who joined the cast in September. For this Halloween celebration, another cabaret favorite returns to the Lips stage: Vivienne LaBarbera!
LaBarbera is a Bronx-born Italian American and lifelong New Yorker embracing her third act as a cabaret artist and performer. A proud mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and former teacher, Vivienne brings humor, heart and imagination to the stage. With a gift for transforming songs into captivating stories, she takes audiences on delightful musical journeys. And next spring, she plans to debut an exciting new show celebrating an iconic watering hole in Astoria, Queens, New York!
The rest of this frightfully fabulous Halloween edition cast includes Jonathan Arons, Anne Fraser Thomas, Michele Balan, Bianca DiSarro, Zach Carter, Desmond Hurt, Leanne Smith, Damon Gillespie, Tommy Batchelor and Katelyn Lauria.
As LavenderAfterDark’s Jed Ryan put it: “BBNO is NEVER afraid to shake it up … it can’t get campier or better!”
