Entertainer, Jerry Scott, pictured below on the left, spent 40 years as a popular singer-pianist with a huge following in Manhattan and beyond. Scott died on April 4, 2013 at age 67, after a struggle with cancer. He was a master of genres—pop and show tunes to operetta and even ragtime—with an amazing repertoire of 2,000+ songs. Name the venue—cabaret room, piano bar, hotel, restaurant—and he no doubt played there. Scott was honored with 12 MAC Awards, a Bistro Award a Critic’s Choice Award and various entertainer of the year awards.
This photo was taken at a roast of Scott. You’ll no doubt recognize NiteLife Exchange publisher, Scott Barbarino in the center of the photo Can you name the other three gentleman?
