Vocalist David Malinsky makes his solo cabaret debut in I Want the World on Thursday, March 12 at 7PM at Don’t Tell Mama. Musical director-pianist is Yasuhiko Fukuoka. Directed by Michael Kirk Lane
Currently starring in Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Gay (The Importance of Being Earnest—with a twist!), Malinsky wants A LOT, but he doesn’t know what it is. He has always had an image of himself, grounded in a rejection of connection and community…and even love…so in this madcap exploration of life, time, space and music, this debut is ultimately about finding one’s true self, told through the songs of Stephen Sondheim, Gilbert and Sullivan, Joe Raposo, Sherman Edwards and more.
$20 cover + $20 minimum (must include 2 drinks) per person, cash only. Reserve here
Don’t Tell Mama is locatedd at 343 W. 46th St., NYC
