The American Popular Song Society is streaming the 16th editions of its Songwriter Series on Saturday, May 8 at 12 PM ET. The event is free, and requires no registration.
The annual Songwriter Event is produced by Sandi Durell and this years features Benjamin Scheuer (The Lion, 2021 Kleban Prize Winner), father and son writing team of ER Dr. Jeff and Jacob Foy (a university student), Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Nicole Zuraitis, Musical Theater composer/lyricist Sam Willmott (recipient of a Jonathan Larson Grant), Alan Schmuckler (TV’s “Showtime,” Kleban prize winner), Jamie de Roy (seven-time Tony-winning producer) with Tony winner Christiane Noll, New York Theatre Barn’s Joe Barros, Douglas Cohen (Drama League Award nominee) and surprise guests!
