The duo of Shana Farr and “Crown Prince of Cabaret,” Steve Ross, are celebrating the joy of the season with their annual Christmas show Let It Snow—Shana Farr and Steve Ross Sing Christmas. The show plays at the church of  St. John’s In the Village on Tuesday, December 14 at 7 PM. The show also streams on any device. A link is sent upon purchase, with unlimited access to the performance (once it is premiered) until December 17, 2021.

The song list includes many holiday favorites, such as “We Need a Little Christmas”, “Christmas Time is Here”, “ Winter Wonderland”, “White Christmas”, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, “The Christmas Song”, “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”, “O Holy Night”, “Almost Christmas Eve” (by Steve Ross), “Department Stores Mean Christmas to Me” and more.

The historic church, St. John’s in the Village, has been an important provider of both pastoral care and practical assistance during NYC’s cholera outbreak in the 1860s, the Spanish Flu pandemic following the First World War, and the AIDS crisis of the 1980s. Today St John’s is playing its part in the COVID-19 pandemic in providing free hand-delivered groceries to the elderly and vulnerable of NYC, allowing then to remain indoors and away from physical contact with others until the danger is passed. We are a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming community of faith known for hospitality, dignified liturgy, beautiful music, intelligent preaching, care for the needy, and engagement with the arts and our local community.

Tickets start at $35. To purchase and for more information, click here.
