NiCori Studios and Productions will present the second New Jersey Cabaret Festival in Fletcher Hall of the The Unitarian Universalist Church of Montclair on Saturday, May 5 at 7 PM. The event will be hosted by Corinna Sowers Adler and cabaret singer and educator, Stearns Matthews. Adler is the Artistic Director of Nicori Studios and Productions, and along with Executive Director husband, Nick Adler, maintains the education and entertainment center in the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center in Bloomfield, NJ. Adler was a 2015 and 2016 nominee for the Tony Award for Excellence in Theater Education. She made her solo New York City cabaret debut in 2010 at the Laurie Beechman Theater in Stories… A Cabaret.
The Second New Jersey Cabaret Festival will have as a special guest Sidney Myer, and feature (in alphabetical order): Corinna Sowers Adler, Wendy Lane Bailey, Ami Brabson, Sean Harkness, James Horan, Rosemary Loar, Mikel Mafaro, Stearns Matthews, Jennylind Parris, Ruby Rims, Warren Schein, Lisa Viggiano and Lisa Yeager. Musical Direction by eight-time MAC Award winning pianist/arranger/conductor/singer-songwriter Tracy Stark.
