Canada-based vocalist Robert Ryan offers Songs From the Heart in his NYC debut, on Friday, September 19 at 7 PM and Saturday, September 20 at 4 PM at Don’t Tell Mama. Singer-pianist Michael Ferreri is at the keys. The show is directed by Sue Matsuki.
Songs From the Heart offers a blend of poignant ballads, folk songs and Broadway gems with compelling storytelling and humor —universal, relatable songs from the heart. Ryan is a classically trained tenor who has performed in the US, Canada and Mexico. The American-born, longtime resident of Canada, developed the show after participating in his first-ever role in the multi-day International Fiesta de Cabaret workshop and festival held at the Act2PV Theater in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Ferreri has performed in key music venues throughout the United States, as well as in Mexico, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Italy, the Canary and Pacific Islands, and New Zealand.
