Writer, director, host Scott Siegel, a lifelong Phil Ochs fan, presents Phil Ochs and Bob Dylan: The Music That Pioneered Modern Protest Music at Feinstein’s/54 Below on Saturday, August 3rd at 9:30 PM. The show stars Brian Charles Rooney, Cooper Grodin and Zachary Stevenson.

From their early careers, inextricably intertwined, the pair created 1960s protest era tunes, such as “Blowin’ in the Wind,” “I Ain’t a Marching Anymore” and  more, forming an emotionally potent bridge between protest and art. While Bob Dylan survived to become a Nobel Prize Winner, Phil Ochs committed suicide—but not before creating a body of work that is deeply moving.
