Diva LaMarr and Darnell White, return to the cabaret stage together on Sunday, March 10 at 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM, making their debut at Pangea. The show is an installment of their musical love story, Just the Two of Us.
LaMarr has had a career that has brought her to stages all over the country and the high seas. She has made guest appearances at The Silver Lining Lounge, The Special Club, Club Cumming, Birdland, Don’t Tell Mamas and The Friars Club, as well as in concerts from Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall to beloved cabaret venues for The Mabel Mercer Foundation and others.
A native of Harlem, White is a graduate LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and The Juilliard School. He’s a performer, composer and musical director. As an MD he has collaborated with a number of noted artists including Melba Moore, Brian McKnight, Blaine Krauss, Amma Ossei, Willis White, Angela Birchett, David LaMarr, Carlton Jumel Smith and many more. He has been seen on the stages of 54 Below, The Iridium, Birdland, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Sid Gold’s to name a few.
