Downtown supper-club Pangea’s Fall bill will include newbies to the club, as well as regulars for a full-bodied lineup of talent.
The Randy Andys, a singing trio of Broadway actors will perform on the second Monday of the month beginning September 9. Fronted by a rotating cast including Alison Mahoney, Sarah Pothier, Katie LaMark, Viveca Chow, and Catie Pires-Fernandez—and backed by host Cacophony Daniels—this homage to The Andrews Sisters is with a modern take on the 1940s with guest singers help them explore radio-era repertoire and make it into something entirely new. In September the sisters are joined by Bret Shuford (“Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” “Amazing Grace,” “Little Mermaid”).

Tammy Faye Starlite’s rock ‘n roll nightclub experience, “Why’d Ya Do It? Tammy Faye Starlite Performs Marianne Faithfull’s ‘Broken English,’” which sold out both its initial run and extension in March and April, returns to Pangea for an eight-week theatrical engagement from September 12 to October 31. Downtowner Raven O continues his jazz-fusion vocals, accompanied by bassist Ben Allison. The New York and Berlin-based, Hawaii-born O shows us what he has to live for in “Alive!”

In “Claywoman,” the in-character improviser Michael Cavadias portrays a 500 million-year-old extraterrestrial in love with planet earth, who says she’ll keep on coming as long as there is an earth to visit. Interviewed by celebrity guests who ask about where she is from and why she has been visiting earth for so long, “Claywoman” is satire-improv presented by Kevin Malony’s TWEED Theaterworks.

Elizabeth “Betsy” Parrish in “Every Soul’s a Cabaret” with music director Mark Fifer on the piano and directed by Paola Styron introduces you to a treasured member of New York’s acting elite—Stella Adler teacher of the theater, Broadway vet from “Deathtrap” and “La Cage aux Folles” and a founding member of the Harold Clurman Laboratory Theatre.
