Powerhouse vocalist Morgan James returns to Dizzy’s Club with a soulful tribute to the Johnny Mercer Songbook, singing timeless classics from one of America’s most revered lyricists. Shows are Thursday, August 14 at 9:00 PM and Friday, August 15 at 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Performing along with James are Doug Wamble, guitar; Ravi Best, trumpet; Tyler Bullock, piano; Sarah Gooch, drums and Spencer Murphy, bass.
James is an actress as well as a singer-songwriter. She has appeared in numerous Broadway shows, including Motown: The Musical, Godspell and The Addams Family. Her first studio album, Hunter, was released by Epic Records in November 2014.
