The 2020 Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) Awards has been cancelled. The show was scheduled for Monday, March 30 at Sony Hall. Here is a statement from MAC president, Lennie Watts:
Hi Everyone,
We are in the midst of a crazy time that calls for tough decisions to be made. It is to that point that we sadly must cancel the 34th Annual MAC Awards that were to be held on March 30 at Sony Hall. The safety and health of our membership is most important to us. The Board will meet soon and decide how we will proceed with the Awards and their distribution. In the meantime, votes are still being counted, and there will be winners!! If you haven’t voted yet, please take the time to do so before the deadline.
We will be taking care of ticket refunds from Brown Paper Tickets ASAP.
Please take care of yourselves!
Wash your hands!
Stay in and work on your shows so we can hit the cabaret rooms when this is all over!!
