Lisa Viggiano, 2019 Bistro Award Winner for Outstanding Vocalist, Broadway World Award Winning Artist and multiple MAC nominee, performs her tribute to the artistry of Bruce Springsteen at Pangea, on Thursday, February 21 at 7 pm. Lisa Viggiano Sings Bruce on Second Avenue is an offering of stories and music highlighting Springsteen’s catalogue, as well as sharing songs related to his discovery by renowned talent scout, John Hammond. Musical Director is Matt Scharfglass on guitarl; direction is and by Tanya Moberly.
A singer/actor since youth, Viggiano has shared the stage and screen with talents such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Tom Hanks, Rita Moreno and Bonnie Raitt. She has also been seen performing the National Anthem for NY sports teams such as the Mets, the Nets and the Rangers. Her performances have ranged from intimate cabaret stages to the grand stages of San Francisco’s Palace of Fine Arts and Herbst Theatre. A storyteller in song, Viggiano’s musical choices range widely from American Songbook standards to contemporary singer-songwriter selections. Viggiano is also a speech-language pathologist for special needs students, helping them to find their voices!
