The iconic Ellen’s Stardust Diner is celebrating the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley‘s 90th Birthday. on Wednesday, January 8. The Elvis Extravaganza, from 11:30 AM on, features a day of high-energy performances, Elvis-themed bites and more, as patrons are transported back in time for a rockin’ birthday bash.
A lifelike wax figure of Elvis Presley from Madame Tussauds will be on display, offering fans the chance to pose with The King. Starduster Dylan Berkshire dressed as Presley will be joined by the diner’s world-famous singing waitstaff in sock-hop themed costumes. Ellen Hart, Stardust owner, invites guests to dust off their poodle skirts and slip on their blue suede shoes for a day of nostalgia, music, and more as Berkshire and the Stardusters serenade patrons with a medley of hits, including “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog” and “All Shook Up.”
To further add to the celebration, guests can indulge in the Blue Hawaiian Shake, a vibrant blue blend of coconut cream, vanilla ice cream and pineapple, complete with a cocktail umbrella and available for $15.
