My latest photo journal captures magical moments from the first night of the 35th New York Cabaret Convention, Put on a Happy Face—A Celebration of Charles Strouse, held on Tuesday, October 23rd at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater.
The event was hosted by multi-award-winning Jeff Harnar and Andrea Marcovicci. The evening was filled with wonderful stars including Karen Akers, Ann Anello, Ari Axelrod , Danny Bacher, Leanne Borghesi, The DTM Dial Tones, Bryce Edwards, Penny Fuller, Maude Maggart, Karen Mason, Madalynn Mathews, Marilyn Maye, Marieann Meringolo, MOIPEI, Marissa Mulder, Lee Roy Reams, Craig Rubano, Marta Sanders, Those Girls and Lumiri Tubo. Ari Axelrod received the 2024 Julie Wilson Award, underwritten by Peter and Linda Hanson.
