Award-winning vocalist Celia Berk performs songs from her new album Now That I Have Everything in a special performance at The National Arts Club on Tuesday, September 20th at 2PM. The program is hosted by author-journalist Will Friedwald, who wrote the album’s liner notes.

Together with arranger-pianist Tedd Firth, percussionist Rex Benincasa, bassist Jay Leonhart and guitarist Matt Munisteri, Berk’s new album explores the ways we try—successfully and not—to connect our heart to someone else’s. The music, from the Great American Songbook, includes the hidden gems that have become Berk’s trademark.

Berk’s previous album, Manhattan Serenade, received the 2017 LaMott Friedman Award and was arranged and conducted by Alex Rybeck and co-produced by Scott Lehrer, the team behind her debut album You Can’t Rush Spring. Her cabaret endeavors have resulted in a 2015 Bistro Award: Vocalist, 2015 MAC Award: New York Debut/Female, 2015 BroadwayWorld Award for Best New York Cabaret Debut, and The 2015 Margaret Whiting Award.

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is required for entrance; please click here.  a
