After an announcement that the truly-beloved institution, the 46-year-old West Bank Cafe would be closing on Aug. 24, the cabaret and theater communities exclaimed a unified NO WAY! A GoFundMe, led by Tom and Michael D’Angora, raised the funds to keep Steve Olsen and the West Bank Cafe in business for years to come. And that, of course, means The Laurie Beechman Theater, which has been home to many performers throughout the years.
Now, to put a fine point on the support, and to celebrate the good news, host-entertainer Richard Skipper is presenting a benefit, Lucky 13 for and at the venue on Friday, September, 13. For more information and tickets, click here.
