Pianist-composer and singer Wells Hanley returns to Pangea on Saturday, August 7 at 7 PM with special guests Brian Childers and Matt Di Pasquale. The trio take up where they left off immediately before COVID forced the world to stand still. They’d appeared at Pangea on March 6th, 2020 as part of Gerry Geddes’ Fabulous First Fridays. Geddes is the director of this outing as well.
During lockdown, Wells continued teaching and composing and created a new hit podcast, I Wrote This Song for You. Childers is an actor-singer-musician and Helen Hayes Award Winner notable for An Evening With Danny Kaye, his one-man touring show starring using the music of Danny Kaye to share his life and work. DiPasquale has been a Marie’s Crisis fixture whose debut solo cabaret show Neither Here Nor There was at the Duplex in 2016.
The evening of “song and fun” takes place in the Front Lounge at Pangea. There is no cover but tipping the performers is suggested, appropriate and appreciated.
