Latin jazz meets flamenco at the 25th anniversary of Flamenco Festival New York, at the Bronx Music Hall, in a tribute to Lola Flores, the legendary Spanish actress, bailaora and singer. Featured on Saturday, March 7 at 7 PM are drummer and band leader Bobby Sanabria & Ascencion performing with the great vocalist from Spain, Mara Rey. The evening will also feature Jenn Jade Ledesna and guitarist Jose Fermin Fernandez. The concert fuses rhythm, passion and soul across cultures—honoring “La Faraona” with a heartfelt, upbeat performance, full of life and rhythm.
