Tim Connell Celebrates the Irish in Us All with “Lucky Me,” on St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday, March 17 at Pangea

Performer Tim Connell celebrates the Irish in us all, with song and story, with Lucky Me on St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday, March 17 at 7 PM and Sunday, March 20 at 2 PM at Pangea. Long-time collaborator-musical director is James Followell, and guest artist, Ari Messenger, plays violin and fiddle. The show’s director is Steven Petrillo

Connell presents ballads from contemporary Irish singer-songwriters Gilbert O’Sullivan, Damien Rice and Van Morrison as well as numbers from Broadway, including George M!, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, and Finian’s Rainbow, as well as some good ole’ reliable pub songs.

Last year, Connell was featured in Shades of Romance 2.0, a livestream concert for CVRep Theatre, and Look to the Rainbow, the Mabel Mercer Foundation’s Livestream St. Patrick’s Day presentation. His most recent appearance was his cabaret show, Dreamin’ Again. Connell’s made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2019 with the Mabel Mercer Foundation’s Centennial Celebration of Jerome Kern, All The Things You Are. The same year, he also performed as part of the Mabel Mercer Foundation’s 30th New York Cabaret Convention at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
