The New York Pops, led by Music Director and Conductor Steven Reineke, opens its 2025-26 season in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. with From Stage to Screen, featuring Hugh Panaro (currently appearing in Masquerade, performed the role of the Phantom in Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera over 2,500 times, in addition to leading roles in Broadway’s original production of Les Misérables, Side Show, and Martin Guerre) and Elizabeth Stanley (Tony Award nominee for Broadway’s Jagged Little Pill, in addition to leading roles in Broadway’s On The Town, Company, and Million Dollar Quartet).
The program features unforgettable songs from Broadway musicals inspired by iconic films, alongside beloved tunes from movie adaptations of Broadway’s greatest hits, including “Children Will Listen” from Into the Woods, “Bring Him Home” from Les Misérables, “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend” from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and “Johanna” from Sweeney Todd.

Payton, and Ephraim Sykes. The New York Pops additionally holds its annual New York Pops Underground event on Monday, October 6, 2025.
