The Chromatics bring The Songs of Rankin/Bass to 54 Below on Sunday, December 28 at 9:30 PM.
Over 65 years, the animated movie classics created by Arthur Rankin Jr and Jules Bass have included holiday figures such as Kris Kringle, Frosty the Snowman and the Miser Brothers, reminding us every year of the season of giving and goodwill towards all. Featuring traditional staples and obscure gems, The Chromatics will sing “A Holly Jolly Christmas” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town,” and more, from shows including “Frosty’s Winter Wonderland,” “The Year Without a Santa Claus” and others.
Curated by the creative team at Rainbow Sun Productions, The Chromatics are a group of rotating players performing in concerts, special events and other live events. The Songs of Rankin/Bass will be the official launch of The Chromatics, featuring:
