Jazz musicians Will and Peter Anderson, masters of reeds debut their 15-piece big band on Sunday, January 26 at 5:30 PM at Birdland with Big Band Royalty,
The show presents an entertaining narrative, drawing from the repertoire of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Artie Shaw and Harry James. Featured in the band are trumpeters Bryan Davis, Joe Boga, Mike Davis. Jon-Erik Kellso; trombonists Sam Chess, Robert Edwards, Josh Holcomb; saxophonists: Will Anderson, Jon De Lucia, Peter Anderson, Chris Byars, Frank Basile; and in the rhythm section: Paul Wells, Dalton Ridenhour, Paul Gill.
