THE MANHATTAN ASSOCIATION OF CABARETS (MAC) is a nonprofit organization established to support and promote the vibrant cabaret scene in New York City. Founded in the early 1980s, MAC emerged in response to the growing mainstream recognition of cabaret as a distinct art form, encompassing music, theater, and performance. The primary goal of MAC is to advocate for cabaret artists and ensure their voices are heard within the broader artistic landscape. This includes providing networking opportunities, educational resources, and professional development for performers at all stages of their careers.

The MAC Awards show is produced by JULIE MILLER and directed by AMY WOLK. JOHN BRONSTON is the musical director and leader of the MAC Awards Band.
