The 34th Annual Bistro Awards show was held on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Gotham Comedy Club on West 22nd Street, NYC. The house was packed and the action swift as honorees accepted their awards. Singer-songwriter and Grammy Hall-of-Famer Judy Collins received the Lifetime Achievement Award, while a diverse group of 14 other outstanding artists performed the numbers that made them award-winners. Hosting was Bistro Awards doyenne, Sherry Eaker, the former longtime Editor-in Chief of Back Stage and the producer of the event since its inception, who heads up the Awards Committee, of critics Gerry Geddes, Roy Sander, Robert Windeler and Mark Dundas Wood. For the seventh year in a row, Shellen Lubin is directed the Bistro Awards show. Sander is the award show’s associate producer; Wendy Lane Bailey is the assistant producer.
