The 2021 Bistro Awards Special Event will stream on Friday, April 30 at 8 pm EDT. The show will present 90 minutes of free entertainment (no registration required) including the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to international star Petula Clark.
The special event features performances from past Bistro Awards shows, starting with the first live presentation at Eighty-Eight’s through last year’s event at Gotham. Viewers will hear what past winners say about their most memorable moments as well as visit some long-running cabaret rooms and see a star performance from each.
The Bistro Awards Special Event concludes with a tribute to acclaimed singer-songwriter-actress Petula Clark, with Jack Bartholet, Aaron Lee Battle, Moira Danis, and Aisha de Haas, plus a special presentation from Michael Feinstein.
The show—the 36th year of the annual Bistro Awards—is produced by founding producer and doyenne of the awards, Sherry Eaker, and directed by Gerry Geddes, with musical direction by Daryl Kojak. Associate producer is Roy Sander and assistant producer is Wendy Lane Bailey.
