Sue’s Muse: An Interview with Tanya Moberly

A multi-award-winning singer, director and songwriter—and the long-time producer and host, along with Mark Janas, of the multi-award-winning Salon, she’s currently the Booking Manager, along with Booking Director Sidney Myer, for the iconic cabaret venue, Don’t Tell Mama. She is a songwriter’s best friend! This “theater gal” has been on the scene for decades starting back as  a cabaret singer. But she does not do, or rarely does, any on-camera interviews—but today…TODAY I get to spend some time with this funny, vibrant, out-spoken woman who many love (and some fear…LOL!) but whom everyone respects. Meet Tanya Moberly…

Cabaret U, The Ridgefield Theater Barn, Peddie Town School (Town Heights, NJ), UCONN’s Osher’s Lifelong Learning Institute, the Vancouver School of Performing Arts and at Fordham University at Lincoln Center. Matsuki is the Producer of the annual Urban Stages’ Winter Rhythms series, NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singers) NMTC National Musical Theater Competition as well as many other benefits and shows.
