Sue’s Muse: An Interview with David Sabella

This man and his very small team have re-created the Cabaret scene down in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico at a club called Act2PV. While there has been a Cabaret and Piano Bar presence down there, he went there several years ago to perform as David and as his alter ego Amanda Reckonwith, fell in love with the place and has now moved there to be the Creative Managing Director of this beautiful Theater/Cabaret/Piano Bar. As a performer, he has International Cabaret, Opera and Broadway acclaim credits along with being the co-author (with me) of So You Want to Sing Cabaret, all of which informs his business skill set across the board. There is a surprise pop up guest in this interview! He is currently booking and bringing INCREDIBLE talent down there for their new season (I just signed my contract for February!) but let me let him tell you about it…please meet David Sabella…
