With week one of the Songbook Summit behind them—celebrating the work of Irving Berlin—identical twins, Peter & Will Anderson shine the spotlight on three more iconic composers (one per week) in a celebration of the Great American Songbook. Songbook Summit: The Andersons Play Berlin, Kern, Carmichael, Van Heusen features a mix of live performance, instrumental and vocal, with video presentation and illuminating narration. Interpreting the music is the jazz sextet of Peter Anderson: tenor & soprano saxophones, clarinet; Will Anderson: alto saxophone, clarinet, flute; Tardo Hammer or Steve Ash: piano; Clovis Nicolas: acoustic bass; Philip Stewart: drums and Molly Ryan: vocals.
