In her NYC solo cabaret debut, Sierra Rein presents Running in Place, an eclectic program of American Songbook gems, contemporary Broadway numbers and pop songs within a theme of dreaming against all odds. Rein performs at The Laurie Beechman Theatre (inside the West Bank Café) on Thursday, April 12 at 7 PM, Sunday, April 29 at 7 PM and Saturday, May 12 at 2 PM. Compositions in the show are by Kander & Ebb, Frishberg, Blumenkrantz, Sondheim, Goldrich & Heisler and more. James Beaman directs, with Music Direction by Bill Zeffiro. Matt Scharfglass is on bass and Rex Benincasa is on drums.
