Sally Mayes Performs “Now and Then: The Great Big Huge Broadway” on Thursday, June 20 at The Green Room 42

Tony Award-nominated Broadway favorite Sally Mayes in Now and Then: The Great Big Huge Broadway, the conclusion of her concert series, is on Thursday, June 20 at 7:00 PM at The Green Room 42. She will be joined by music director-pianist Tedd Firth, David Finck (bass), Jessica Wright (violin and vocals) and Carolyn Montgomery (vocals).

Mayes is pulling all the stops out for her last show of the series this year, coming in with her Broadway repertoire. Known best for her Tony nominated performance in the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of She Loves Me, Mayes ws the original Keely of the cult musical Pete ‘n’ Keely. She has run the gamut with her theatrical concerts and recordings from Broadway, jazz and country, to pop and the American Songbook.

Mayes made her Broadway debut in Cy Coleman’s Welcome to the Club. Her performance won critical praise along with a Theatre World Award and an Outer Critics Circle nomination as one of Broadway’s Outstanding Newcomers. Mayes also appeared as Aunt Corene in Urban Cowboy (Drama Desk nomination) and was in the national tour of Dirty Blonde as well as the Broadway revival of Steel Magnolias.

The cover charge ranges from $20-$50. A livestream option is available for $20. For tickets, please visit www.TheGreenRoom42.com.
