Grammy-nominated vocalist Roseanna Vitro presents Sing a Song of Bird CD release party at Soapbox Gallery in Brooklyn on Thursday, October 28 at 8 PM. The program will also be available as a streaming event.
Vitro sings and presents new lyrics to Charlie Parker compositions, with an all-star group, including NEA Jazz Master Donald Harrison on alto sax, NEA Jazz Master and vocalist Sheila Jordan, vocalist Marion Cowings and so[rano sax player and vocalist Danny Bacher.
Also appearing are two-time Grammy Award winner Alan Broadbent on piano, bassist Dean Johnson
and Alvester Garnett on drums.
