He may turn out to be that dashing high roller of your dreams… or a cheating low life cad… but, according to Robin Kradles, a woman — or a drag queen — must always take another chance on love. In Robin’s new show, Gambling on Love, laudiences are invited to laugh their way from love and lust to love that’s lost…and back again. The show is directed by Lennie Watts, with musical direction by Rick Jensen at Don’t Tell Mama Wednesday, January 31 at 7 PM.
Robin Kradles is the nom de drag of singer and actor Richard Becker. A drag queen of the old-school style, she regales her audiences with songs and stories from her glamorous past and present. Known for a sharp wit and sharper tongue, she nonetheless maintains a demure countenance. BroadwayWorld.com said “…her singing is solid, her presence magically alluring, but her hilarious side comments…are what gets the audience going.”
TheaterScene.net says, “…anybody who had the luck of listening to what Kradles had whipped up went home happy.”
